COVID-19 Updates
At Kim Sirrs tattoo the health and safety of clients in top priority. In an effort to keep us all safe, new procedures and protocols have been added on to those already existing based on WorkSafe guidelines. Please read through carefully and feel free to email me if you have any questions or concerns.
Newly added is online release forms and COVID-19 prescreen assessment which is required prior to consults and appointments.
Client Safety Protocols
If you have a cold or flu symptoms reschedule your appointment. Your deposit will be held for when you are well.
Fill out online release forms 24 hours in advance.
Clients must wear a mask at all times.
Clients provide their own mask.
Clients hand sanitize at the front door
Clients have their temperature checked with a no touch forehead thermometer
One client at a time with no guests
No food or extra personal items.Bring a water bottle if you wish.
Clients put away phones during visit
Clients wait outside of studio and wait to be called inside
Consultations by FaceTime, Zoom, or Skype when possible. Also outdoor in person with mask and social distance.
Additional cleaning will be done between each client to all “high touch” areas such as door nobs, hand rails, bathroom surfaces, etc.
The tattoo room will continue to be cleaned with a hard surface disinfectant and universal precautions employed which include disposable barrier protections for work surfaces, application equipment,including machine and clipboard bags, drape sheets, dental bibs, etc. Ventilation will be increased by opening all windows and using fans to promote airflow.
Tattoo artist will wash hands before and after procedures and wear PPE that protects eyes, nose, mouth hands and body/clothing contamination. This includes gloves, masks, protective eyewear and aprons. Tattoo artist will dispose of PPE appropriately.
Tattoo artist will follow up with client health 3-5 days after.
